The Four Seasons Hotel Makkah will be located adjacent to Al-Masjid Al-Haram ( the Grand Mosque) with unobstructed views of the Haram.
The Four Seasons Hotel Makkah will be the company’s second location in Saudi Arabia after the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre.
Allen Smith, the president of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts said that the organisation continues to expand its portfolio in the Middle East and was pleased for associating with Jabal Omar Development Company for a fully customized experience in Makkah.
The new building will be replete with luxurious environment that will enhance the connection to the important places for the visitors.
Four Seasons will cater to the unique needs of those who visit Makkah as Each Four Seasons is reflective of its destination. After competing an international design competition the award-winning architectural firm Foster + Partners was chosen for the project.
Approximately there will be 375 guest rooms and suites and around 90 Four Seasons private residence. There will be a clear view of the Kaaba from every guest room and suite while there will be dedicated private prayer rooms.
Yasser Faisal Al-Sharif, the chief executive of Jabal Omar Development company said that with the close collaboration of design partners and Four Seasons, they want to bring an ultimate hospitality experience to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
