Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the world’s leading luxury hospitality company, invites guests worldwide to join in celebrating Global Wellness Day on June 11, 2016. Global Wellness Day is an international day dedicated to “living well, both physically and spiritually.” The celebration falls on the second Saturday of June each year.
To commemorate Global Wellness Day, Four Seasons hotels and resorts worldwide will introduce a range of activities and amenities to spur health and wellness. These include spa treatments, delectable food and beverage offerings, meditation, fitness and yoga sessions – even a three-hour romp with adorable, adoptable puppies, taking place at Four Seasons Hotel Austin.
Four Seasons has long pioneered health and wellness offerings, from the company’s first health club in 1963 to its luxurious spas and state-of-the-art fitness facilities today. This year marks a particularly notable milestone, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first full-service hotel spa to open in North America, which debuted at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas in 1986. With the same innovative spirit, Four Seasons continues to lead in health and wellness with a robust slate of programming worldwide commemorating Global Wellness Day.
Special activities and amenities taking place before, during and after Global Wellness Day at Four Seasons hotels and resorts include:
Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
On Global Wellness Day, Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills will host a variety of fitness, spa, and food and beverage initiatives. The morning will start with complimentary fresh green juices in the Hotel lobby, followed by sunrise yoga with famed yogi and wellness ambassador Rainbeau Mars on the property’s rooftop helicopter pad, featuring stunning views of the city. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy farm-to-table fare, prepared by Executive Chef Cyrille Pannier in partnership with Weiser Farms, at the poolside Cabana Restaurant. Guests can conclude their day of wellness by enjoying a sunset breath work meditation session on the Upper Pool deck.
Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo
Guests will be invited to participate in the Resort’s newly-launched four-hour Pura Vida For All program, which helps guests disconnect from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with themselves through spiritual, nutritional, fitness-related and social responsibility activities. The Spa will also offer a complimentary 30 minute extension on all 60 or 90 minutes treatments booked on Global Wellness Day. The day will end with sunset yoga on the Arnold Palmer golf course, which offers sweeping, once-in-a-lifetime views of the Pacific Ocean.
