Beginning in 1859, the Colorado Gold Rush signified the boom in gold mining and a population surge in the state, which was known as the Kansas Territory at the time. Honouring this rich and colourful past, Four Seasons Hotel Denver invites smitten sweethearts to “stake their claim” and experience a golden Valentine’s Day – from its extraordinary 24 Karat package to a Gold Dust Facial.
Four Seasons unveils its over-the-top 24 Karat package for Valentine’s Day, featuring the following:
Priced at USD 7,000 for two nights, this package requires a seven-day advance booking. For room reservations, call 303 389 3033.
Gold Dust Facial
The Spa will offer Gold Dust Facial, a glistening restorative treatment with nanogold.
As one of the first metals to have been discovered, gold was used for medicinal purposes as early as the fourth century BC. Channeling the anti-ageing and healing powers of this precious metal, the Gold Dust Facial incorporates Knesko’s Nanogold Face Mask. Fusing active ingredients of marine collagen, elastin, nanogold, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, this shimmering facial is activated by body heat to deliver restorative effects, including the brightening of skin complexion. As the mask intensely nourishes even the most dehydrated skin in a matter of minutes, fine lines and wrinkles are diminished, as well as enhancing the elasticity of the skin.
Priced at USD 250 for 80 minutes and USD 150 for 50 minutes.
For Spa reservations, call 303 389 3020.
Led by Executive Chef Simon Purvis, EDGE’s culinary team has created a sumptuous three-course menu, offered the evenings of February 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. At USD 85 per person, the menu features seared jumbo scallops with black truffles as a starter, wood-grilled filet mignon with poached Maine lobster, and a chocolate heart for two with gold leaf.
