Sweden’s famous chefs Jonas Åhman and Joakim Blom will present the natural, fresh and healthy stylings of Swedish food for the week-long celebration. Chef Jonas Åhman is known for Trädgårdsgatan 26, which was awarded as TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, and Chef Joakim Blom accumulated his experience in luxury hotels and Michelin awarded restaurants.
With the rise in reputation for new Nordic cuisine, Swedish chefs focus more on using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients and updating traditional techniques such as salting, smoking and other time-honoured techniques. Bravey with innovation earned Sweden 22 Michelin stars, and Sweden was in the top 3 for the 7th time at the Bocuse d’Or since it was launched in 1987.
The upcoming “Swedish food week” prepared by Jonas Åhman and Joakim Blom will bring authentic Swedish food that finally reveals the unique qualities of Nordic cooking.
The 10-day feast is between May 27 and June 5, 2019 and includes a seven-day buffet dinner at Cafe Studio and a three-day three-course dinner set at Steak House at Four Seasons Hotel Shanghai.
