Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village unveils a new dining concept in The Lobby Lounge restaurant at the AAA Five Diamond Hotel. Executive Chef Jesse Hansen’s brainchild Coastal Market is an interactive dining experience featuring a range of fresh seafood with the Chef’s signature seasonal American preparation.
Chef Hansen was inspired by the distinct regions in the United States and the unique preparations of seafood in each. From rich New England flavours to the kick of Creole cooking and the fresh, clean approach of California cuisine, each dish at the Coastal Market aims to pay homage to American seafood at its best.
While the menu will vary week to week, Chef Hansen is committed to presenting a mix of cold, raw options, traditional seafood entrees, an interactive seafood dish, and of course a decadent dessert bar. A sample menu includes a selection of San Francisco cioppino, paprika charred octopus salad, oysters, crab claws, grilled swordfish with pineapple and cucumber relish, and create-your-own seafood boil. Each evening will have a sweet ending with house-made treats such as New Orleans beignets, lemon cream and red currant dessert cup, and chocolate citrus bread pudding.
