Relax, rejuvenate and recharge in the Tetons with the new yoga retreat at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, taking place June 2-6, 2016. The four-day itinerary includes morning and afternoon yoga practice, daily breakfast at the award-winning Westbank Grill, hiking in the surrounding mountains of Jackson, and relaxation with the luxurious accommodations and amenities. The beauty of Jackson’s pristine landscape amplifies the healing and restorative effects of daily yoga and meditation, and coupled with the luxury accommodations of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, creates a truly a unique experience for retreat participants.
The retreat begins upon arrival with a welcome hike up Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Wildflower trail. Guests will acclimate to the altitude, take in views and enjoy physical activity to start off the retreat. Small bites and refreshments follow the hike on the patio of The Handle Bar as guests taken in the late afternoon alpine glow.
Each morning of the retreat will begin with a two-hour yoga practice enhanced by the natural beauty and tranquil sounds of Four Seasons water features. Morning practices will incorporate a mindful, systemic and compassionate approach to yoga that is both physically and spiritually challenging. Participants will explore the energetics of asana combined with the appropriate pranayama and meditation. Afternoon classes will involve light yoga nidra and restorative asana, encouraging guests to dive deeper into the internal landscape through meditation, yoga nidra and restorative asana.
Daily breakfast will be provided in the Resort’s signature restaurant Westbank Grill. Healthy menu items will be available for retreat participants, including homemade granola, egg white omelets and local huckleberry shakes. Free time in the morning and early afternoon is built in to the itinerary for participants to explore the Jackson valley and take advantage of the many Resort amenities such as the award-winning Spa, paddle boarding, paragliding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing or relaxing by the outdoor pool.
The retreat will conclude on a new moon where the afternoon practice will vary slightly to incorporate some lunar poses and practice. Executive Chef Michael Goralski will prepare a final celebratory dinner for the group on the terrace of the Westbank Grill. Following dinner, participants will have the exclusive opportunity to learn about the new moon while stargazing with the Resort’s in house astronomer.
