Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole will be saying “yes” to this year’s Global Wellness Day on Saturday, June 11, 2016 through a variety of fitness, spa, and food and beverage initiatives.
This year, Global Wellness Day will be celebrated in 100 countries from sunrise in New Zealand until sunset in Hawaii. Founded five years ago by Belgin Aksoy from Istanbul, this is a special day that reminds the entire world of the importance of living well, encompassing everything from exercise and beauty treatments, spiritual teachings and ways of thinking, to the harmony between body and spirit. This is a social movement without any commercial purpose, celebrated around the world on the second Saturday of June every year. Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts decided to partner with Global Wellness Day to highlight the company’s vast wellness initiatives and outstanding spas within the portfolio.
The morning of Global Wellness Day will begin at 9:00 am with yoga at the Resort’s Ascent Lounge. Guest will enjoy sweeping views of Rendezvous Mountain while perfecting their morning sun salutations.
Late morning, guests will be invited to join a base camp staffer up the Wildflower Trail located out the back steps of Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole. Wildflower is a gorgeous trail that links the Lower Faces trails from the bottom of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort all the way up to Casper. Great views of the valley, aerial tram, gondola and wildflowers can be soaked in to the fullest at several scenic points.
In the afternoon a complimentary aquatic workout class will be taught in the outdoor heated pool.The Spa will celebrate by offering 30 percent savings on all Alo, Onzie and Pink Lotus fitness wear on both June 11 and 12.
In addition, the Hotel’s culinary team will offer complimentary Teton Berry Muesli and fresh green juices, made in house, available in the lobby on the morning of June 11. Four Seasons Executive Chef Michael Goralski will be creating special breakfast, lunch and dinner wellness menus for the day.The Hotel will also offer wellness initiatives for employees, including antioxidant juices and smoothies, and healthy dishes in the employee cafeteria.
