Imagine the sensation of flying high above the sparkling Andaman Sea, standing on foot jets propelled by nothing but water and adrenalin. It’s the stuff that thrill-seekers’ dreams are made of, and it pushes the limits of water sports – and independent flight simulation – to truly thrilling new heights.
Each 30-minute session begins with a brief orientation before heading into the Andaman Sea under the guidance of the Resort’s expert water sports team. Use balance and independent foot action to get out of the water – then let imagination fly free!
Most first timers achieve jet-flight between 2 and 5 metres (7-16 feet) above sea level. More experienced participants can advance to heights of 15 metres (50 feet) alongside all sorts of airborne acrobatics including spins, swivels and 360s. It’s even possible to soar above and dive beneath the waves like a dolphin. The high-tech design results in powerful shudder-free flights, and while there’s no specific age limit for use, it’s essential that guests feel comfortable in deep water.
“We’re constantly looking to push the boundaries of innovation while keeping guests connected to the outstanding beauty of our UNESCO surroundings,” commented the Resort’s General Manager Andrew Harrison. “Jetblades tick all the boxes: the world’s leading advancement in independent flight, the breathtaking vantage point of Tanjung Rhu bay, and the thrill of an experience that so few people have had the chance to try. We’re delighted to be the first in the country to offer it.”
