Shining a spotlight on health and wellbeing, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita will be celebrating this year’s Global Wellness Day on June 11, 2016 with a host of activities and experiences that allow guests to dedicate quality time to exercising, beauty treatments and discovering more about nutritious cuisine.
Now in its fourth year, Global Wellness Day takes place on the second Saturday of June and is dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of living well. In support of this, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius will be holding a series of special offerings throughout the day, ranging from early morning beach meditation to energy-boosting fruit shooters, poolside reflexology and a healthy-eating group cooking class.
“These days we all juggle the commitments of our day to day lives at an incredible pace and it can be hard to find time to look after what our bodies and minds really need,” comments General Manager Marc-Olivier Raffray. “For many of our guests, a vacation in Mauritius is a chance to relax and to take some times for themselves. Our initiatives for Global Wellness Day will be a perfect complement to these priorities, allowing guests the chance to focus on their own well-being through a series of fun and engaging experiences.”
Highlights of the Global Wellness Day program at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius include:
Early morning energy – Choose between a guided jogging tour of the Resort’s tropical surroundings or a tranquil beach meditation session to kick start the day.
Food for thought – Breakfast will feature a range of wellness foods to supplement the morning’s live cooking stations and a la carte menu, while a shot of vitamins will be waiting in a selection of daily specials at the Beau Champ juice station.
Making a splash – From an Aquaerobics class at Bambou Pool to a fun, all-ages kayak race across the lagoon, guests will be able to keep cool with in-water activities.Eat clean – Set in the Resort’s Cotomili Herb Garden, the expert Four Seasons chefs will share their top tips on preparing nutritious dishes full of flavour in an afternoon group cooking class.
Further to the Resort’s Global Wellness Day program, the Spa at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius will be offering an exclusive opportunity to enjoy its signature Sugar Cane Experience at the special price of MUR 6,000 for a 60 minute treatment and MUR 8,000 for a 90 minute treatment.
