In celebration of the Chinese New Year, Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is preparing for a diverse line up of culinary offerings, drawing on the expert knowledge of its Executive Chef Nicolas Vienne – an award-winning author of Chinese recipes.
From February 4 to 13, 2016, the luxury Mauritius resort will offer an array of colourful theme evenings at its beachfront Bambou Restaurant, where live music and spectacular dance performances will be the highlight of entertainment. Showcasing culinary specialties from all corners of Asia – from traditional Chinese to Indian, Korean and Thai, there will also be a chance to sample a taste of the local at Zilwa Night (meaning “of the island” in the local Creole language) and the finest meats and seafood at the restaurant’s BBQ evenings.
Guests may also enjoy a sprinkling of Chinese specialties every morning at breakfast in Beau Champ Restaurant as a complement to a chilled buffet selection and hot a la carte dishes.
Arriving at the Resort in January 2015 following five years working in China, Chef Nicolas Vienne continues to develop his passion for Chinese cuisine, with his most recent cookery book on this subject, Shanghai Flair – The Vision of a French Chef in China, winning two Gourmand Awards in 2015.
