It is a portion of a $20 million transformation that would be concluding in spring 2018 with the refurbishment of all its 277 guest rooms and suites. Together the project encompasses over 15,000 square feet of meeting space including the 6,960 square feet Veranda Ballroom.
It was attached to its 3,150 square foot Veranda Terrace that represents the only outdoor space of the city attached to a meeting room.
Furthermore, a new executive boardroom known as the SoMa suite has also been added. All the spaces have been wonderfully updated with a brand new color palette comprising greys, purples, blues and custom carpets inspired by the Pacific Ocean and also the redwood and fog trees of San Francisco. Alongside that, new wood furniture made from hand-finished cerused oak and walnut slabs and new drapery evocative mist are also some attractive additions.
Doug Housley who is the general manager of the hotel said that guests are impressed by the unique and thoughtful design that is influenced by the natural beauty of San Francisco.
