Four ways you might be kicked from the plane seat

Published on : Friday, July 8, 2016

Plane SeatsThe next time you get yourself an airline ticket, beware of the fact that airlines would not guarantee you a particular flight, schedule or even the plane seat. For, airlines are actually really choosy about the kind of passengers they fly and where they offer them seats inside the planes.

The airline authorities had once booted Andie MacDowell, an actor to the tourist class in the month of January simply because she was carrying a pet pooch. Initially, she was sitting in the bulkhead row inside the first class. These kinds of rows generally lack under-seat area in which one might place their dog and its carrier.

However, carrying pets is not the only reason why travelers might be removed from their seats or booted from the plane entirely.

The following factors might be the culprits for kicking you out of the plane seat:

#1. Misbehaving with a crew member:

Never ever mess with a crew member while you are inside the airport or onboard any flight. Chances are, the crew member might complain to the concerned authorities for your rude behavior. Thereafter, you might be asked to get off the plane.

#2. Disobeying crew members:

If you or your child fails to obey the instructions of the crew members, do not expect the airline authorities to treat you with respect. Therefore, make it a point to read up those lighted placard signs when you have boarded an aircraft. Passengers need to settle down in their seats and fasten their seatbelts.

#3. The Air Marshall requires your seat:

The duty of an Air Marshall is to protect the passengers flying in a plane. Now, if one of them requires your seat, you would either be reassigned a seat or asked to get off the flight immediately.

#4. Improper dressing:

If passengers are clad in attires that are too revealing or tee-shirts inscribed with offensive words, they might be booted from their plane seats without delay. The flight attendants might not even permit such passengers to board the plane in such cases.
