It will complement the three daily A380 services and will be operated by the same aircraft that will increase the passenger’s capacity by 6,846 seats in a week.
There will be a 7.3 per cent increase in capacity for the Emirates’ Australian services with more inbound and outbound flights. This will lead to greater connectivity between passengers travelling from Europe and North Africa to Australia.
The partnership between Qantas and Emirates will be further built, the growing demand for services to Dubai will be met. Qantas re-routing its current Sydney to London service via Singapore will be complemented.
The passengers will be able to depart from Sydney with Emirates’ new service along with convenient arrival in European cities next morning.
The services operated by an A380 aircraft will introduce new options for passengers departing to London and main European cities in the morning with an afternoon arrival in Sydney the next day. It will have a short connection in Dubai.
