Fred. Olsen’s Mike Evans celebrates a quarter of a century with the cruise line!

unnamed (1)Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Mike Evans, Head of Sales, is celebrating a milestone 25 years with the Suffolk-based company.Mike joined Fred. Olsen on 3rd August 1992, and has fulfilled a number of roles within the Sales Department of the cruise line during that time, including his current role as Head of Sales – which he assumed in April 2017 – as well as Sales Manager – Independent Retail, and Regional Sales Manager for the North of England, Scotland & Northern Ireland.

 

Mike is well-known within the travel industry, having worked in many areas of the travel trade, including retail, tour operations, tourist boards and airline sales, across a 40-year career.Mike is now responsible for managing Fred. Olsen’s UK Sales teams, as well as further developing relations with the travel trade.

 

Speaking of his milestone 25th anniversary with Fred. Olsen, Mike Evans said:

 

“It is fantastic to be celebrating a quarter of a century with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines – the time has really flown by.“I have seen how the company has changed and expanded over the years and I am really proud to be a part of that.

 

“I am particularly excited to be leading the team at this time, when we are looking to engage with the travel trade even more than we have done, and we have increased the number of new and innovative itineraries – including our extensive fly-cruise programme.”

 

Mike Rodwell, Managing Director of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said
