Minister for Tourism Leon Bignell said 300 guests will enjoy French, Australian and New Zealand wines at Publishers Art House.
“They will decide by voting, after having tasted their way around the room. Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan, Cinsault, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne are just a few wines on offer,” Mr Bignell said.
“With some guests choosing to dress up in costume, it’s a fun-filled day and I am very pleased it will be back next year for Tasting Australia.”
Tasting Australia’s Creative Director, Paul Henry, said he was thrilled Game of Rhones will be at the event next year.
“Game of Rhones is a great example of how a touch of creativity can appeal to a new audience,” Mr Henry said.
Victoria’s Director of Bottle Shop Concepts, Dan Sims, said he was looking forward to coming back to South Australia in 2016.
“Adelaide is a hotbed of brave new ideas and it has adopted us whole-heartedly ,” Mr Sims said.
The 12-month countdown to the 2016 Tasting Australia is now on.
The 2016 Tasting Australia event will be staged in Adelaide and regional South Australia from May 1 to 8.
