From November onwards, all adult and child passengers flying across Garuda Indonesia’s international routes will receive an additional 10kg increase in baggage allowance across all classes. Economy weight allowance has increased from 20kg to 30kg while Business and First Class have each risen from 30kg and 40kg to 40kg and 50kg respectively.
“The increased baggage allowance for global passengers is another testament of ‘Garuda Indonesia Experience’ service concept,” said Dedy Irawan, General Manager of Garuda Hong Kong & Macau.
“We’re seeing more passengers in Hong Kong travelling further with us and for a longer period of time. We’ve enhanced our baggage allowance to provide them with ample space for any journey whether business or pleasure. And with our entry into SkyTeam in March 2014, we will be further broadening and strengthening our global flight network linking Indonesia to major destinations around the world.”
Along with this global baggage allowance increase, passengers can also enjoy Garuda Indonesia‘s complimentary sports equipment allowance of 23kg, making it possible to take along any equipment such as surfboards, golf clubs or diving gear at no extra charge.
