Garuda Indonesia is currently holding the third phase of the Garuda Indonesia Online Travel Fair (GOTF) that has a target of 700,000 foreign travellers and as much as 2.3 million domestic tourists.
Nina Sulistyowati, marketing and IT director, marketing department, Garuda in Jakarta asserted that they presently hold the third phase of the GOTF at overseas offices of Indonesian representatives.
With this fair Garuda is eager to play its part in assisting the government realize their target of 20 million visitor arrivals in 2019.
Nina also added that among the destinations that were being promoted through the fair in Belitung in Bangka Belitung, Denpasar in Bali, Denpasar, Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara, Sorong in Papua and also Manado in North Sulawesi. She further stated that the third phase of the GOTF was to mark the collaboration between Garuda and private lender HSBC Indonesia.
She said that Garuda is eager to optimize the global networks of the banks.
Dewi Tuegeh who is the HSBC Indonesia head of customer value mentioned that her company would utilize its global networks via its Home and Away Program to promote the GOTF.
She also feels that the GOTF was also being promoted through its various websites in China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK.
She then mentioned that their customers in those countries would be capable of accessing the GOTF to enjoy these destinations in Indonesia.
The GOTF would be running till 30th November. Business and first class tickets would be sold between 21st and 23rd November and the other classes of tickets can be collected from 24th to 30th November.
