With the presence of more than 50 media personalities, social media influencers and the travel and food bloggers from all over the UAE, the first ever “Gastronomic Journey to Thailand”, an event at Dusit Thani Dubai highlighted the communication with the culinary creation between the two countries Arabia and Thailand for the promotion of tourism and the gastronomic presence in Thailand.
“Gastronomic Journey to Thailand” is aimed not only to promote the foods of Thailand in the international presence, but also to draw attention to the Arabian travellers that Thailand is giving a scope to ease the travel for any Arabian tourists. This event also aimed to promote the halal-friendly offerings to families and young travellers to further position Thailand as the ultimate gastronomical destination for the Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) and the Middle East travellers.
The Thai food, known as the best Asian food is known and loved all over the world for its fiery rich flavour combinations, unique cooking styles and age-old methods of preserving foods, and the use of exotic herbs and spices to enrich the flavours and offer nutrition. This gala extravaganza showcased the culinary pride of Thailand.
Pichaya Saisaengchan, the newly appointed director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Dubai and Middle East office said, that Thailand has been known as one of the Middle East region’s most preferred holiday destinations catering for all kinds of travellers; families, wedding and honeymooners, young travellers, business meets, MICE, Golf and sports tourists and medical and wellness.
Over the past few years, there is an influx of the Arabain tourists in Thailand.
There is also an increase in consumer awareness and recognition about Thai food in which the Thailand see an astonishing chance to further deepen the understanding of people regarding Thai food.
“Gastronomic Journey to Thailand” projects the world’s top 7 Thai dishes to emphasise the best of the best in the Thai cuisine and also it indirectly promotes the best tourism destinations in Thailand.
