The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA)—the voice of the global business travel industry—today announced Jim Collins, international bestselling author, will be a keynote speaker at GBTA’s The Masters Program 2014 being held February 10-11, 2014 in Washington, D.C.“Jim Collins has spent nearly 25 years researching what makes good companies great ones,” said Michael W. McCormick, GBTA executive director and COO.
“We are pleased to have him speak at The Masters Program and share his knowledge with the business travel community about how companies can thrive even in uncertain times.”
Collins has authored or co-authored six books that have sold in total more than ten million copies worldwide. After beginning his research and teaching career on the faculty at Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1992, he founded a management laboratory in Boulder, Colo., in 1995, where he now conducts research and consults with executives from the corporate and social sectors.
