Today, the Georgia Tourism, a division of the Georgia Department of Economic Development declared the introduction of a new program – Georgia Film Selfie Spot Tour. This self-guided tour program focuses aims to emphasize fast growing film tourism locations all through Georgia. The program will be conducted till the end of this year.
To quote Kevin Langston, GDEcD deputy commissioner for tourism, “Georgia has grown to become a top destination for filmmakers and a top destination for film fans. Visitors come from all over the world to follow in the footsteps of their favorite movie and TV personalities and the new Georgia Film Selfie Spot Tour will help them do just that. This is a fun and exciting way to experience these locations scattered all over Georgia.”
For this purpose, more and more social media enthusiasts have been urged to share their insta-worthy selfies on this Georgia Film Selfie Spot Tour utilizing #GeorgiaFilm. 33 sites different sites have been compiled in the tour. To help the visitors, each site will have a sign that will enable those film lovers to take selfies in that spot. Few locations added of the sites are:
Captain America: Civil War, Porsche Experience Center, Atlanta
