Around 11 am local time on 30th May, a man entered the Cologne Bonn airport in Germany, by crawling right under the noses of the airport authority. Precisely after the man intruded the airport through terminal 1, all the terminals have been locked down indefinitely. All the outbound aircrafts has been cancelled and has been returned to the terminals because of safety measures.
People along with their luggage are passing through security checks and producing documents in front of the airport staffs. The man hunt is moving at a rapid speed in order to find the trespasser and execute the potential threat. All the out bound flights are being checked, but, the airport authority is allowing the incoming flights to land.
As a preventative measure, dogs are sniffing and searching for explosives inside the entire airport premises.
The airport authority is assuming that the man could also be a passenger, who does not know the rule of boarding a flight, and entered the airport grounds through the exit gate, instead of the security checks.
Although, the search for explosives and other potential danger is just for precaution, but one way or other, the incident only points out the flaws in the airport security at Cologne Bonn in Germany.
