Tourism Ireland invited twelve (12) German coach tour operators to Armagh and Fermanagh, to experience for themselves the high standard and variety of our tourism offering.
Following an itinerary devised by Tourism NI, they visited Navan Fort, Armagh’s two cathedrals and the Ulster American Folk Park in Omagh. They also paid a visit to the Marble Arch Caves Geopark and Florence Court.
Zoë Redmond, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Central Europe, said: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite these top German coach tour operators to Northern Ireland, to see and experience some of our many visitor attractions. The aim of their visit was to encourage them to extend the Northern Ireland content of their existing programmes, or to include Northern Ireland for the first time in their 2017 programmes.
“Germany is an important market for tourism to Northern Ireland.
