Adrenalin-seekers can now take to the air and enjoy the scenery of the Macarthur region from helicopters, light planes, gliders, tiger moths, jetfighters and hot air balloons, with Balloon Aloft offering a special 15 per cent discount on flights.
The saving is valid until further notice on midweek, full-priced morning flights over the historic Camden area, reducing the cost to $289 per person – a discount of $51.
Hot air balloons are a common and majestic sight over the hills and dales of the Macarthur region, with award-winning Balloon Aloft pioneering its first Australian flights in the region more than 35 years ago. The balloon flights are about one hour in duration and take place as the sun rises, providing a stunning view of the region, just 50 minutes from the Sydney CBD. After the flight, guests celebrate with a buffet breakfast and sparkling wine at Rydges Campbelltown’s new eatery, Otis Bar and Grill.
