MICE industry trade show will get started this week with a new approach. Over 129 exhibitors and 300 buyers will attend the Global launches at the International Convention Centre in Sydney this Friday. The inaugural outbound event will have a large overseas buying contingent.
Gary Bender, Director and founder of Get Global mentioned that the event was initially aimed at Australian buyers who intended to expand the MICE business overseas. However, with the influx of international buyers registering they will be commuting to attend Get Global from India, Singapore and New Zealand.
Industry professional Donna and Gary initiated the event which has an excellent support and MICE industry suppliers have shown interest.
Liz Maxwell, Managing Director, ESP Ventures Limited, New Zealand is looking forward to travelling to Sydney to attend the new MICE business platform and interact with a majority of industry suppliers. He immediately checked his schedule when Get Global was announced to happen on Friday, 28 July 2017.
The Director and founder of Get Global, Donna Kessler said that the unique, business focused platform of Get Global will allow buyers and sellers to connect and network. Buyers and sellers can make the most of the event with no set appointments and themed geographical zones.
Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific, Club Med, Hong Kong Tourism, Marriott, Movenpick, Qantas, QT, Sofitel, Langham, Royal Caribbean, Los Angeles Tourism, Las Vegas Tourism, Jumeriah Hotels and Hyatt will be the among the important exhibitors attending the event.
During the event buyers can connect with key locations, properties and tourism bodies. The buyer registrations will remain open right from the start of Get Global and those wishing to attend are encouraged to register before the start of the conference.
International suppliers can connect with corporate meeting planners, incentive houses, PCO’s , travel companies and others from the international business group from Australia.
Get global is scheduled on the 28th July in the Gallery at the International Convention Centre.
