Two new senior mangers will be joining London’s largest hotel owner-opearator-glh. The group is expected is to expand its existing portfolio to 17 with future projects in the pipeline.
Joey Goei, has joined glh Hotels as design manager and will be responsible for overseeing all interior design projects within the group, for both existing and new hotels and projects across the group’s portfolio. This will be inclusive of Guoman, Amba, every, Thistle and Thistle Express brands.
Goei was previously the project manager at AccorHotels UK & Ireland and saw projects at various sites including Novotel London Canary Wharf, MGallery Leicester Square, Ibis Styles Ealing, and Mercure Bridgwater.
Paul Phillips, property director from glh Hotels was thrilled to welcome Joey, she’ll drive forward and redesign existing properties and will be instrumental in developing the look and feel of the interiors for the future hotels and projects .Goei will report to Phillips.
Former general manager of Thistle City Barbican, Paul Knightley, has been promoted to group operations manager for the Thistle, Thistle Express, and every hotels brands.
Having worked for the Thistle Hotel brand since 2000, Knightley holds a wealth of experience that will help in the brands’ development.
Magrane said that Paul has 17 years of Thistle Hotels experience and is the perfect choice for this role, as they continue to develop and deliver the very best guest experience.
