A recent €50 million upgrade of its sports, leisure and lifestyle facilities has elevated Quinta do Lago into Europe’s premier contemporary luxury destination resort, and a golf-inspired five-star treat awaits families at the award-winning venue this Easter.
Revamped to provide the one of the most vibrant luxury lifestyle experiences to be found anywhere in the world, the award-winning Algarve venue has unveiled a packed programme of more than 20 fun events for the holiday period covering golf, sports, food and entertainment.

Following its increasing success in recent years, the resort’s Paul McGinley Golf Academy – the only academy of its kind in Europe – will again be hosting a series of Easter junior camps as part of a busy activity programme for children of all ages and abilities from March 21 to April 8.
Available to juniors aged five to 16 and taking place from Monday to Friday over a three-week period, the daily three-hour sessions are available for €175 per person and offer a comprehensive week’s coaching for beginners, intermediates and advanced players in a fun and competitive environment.
A fun-packed morning for youngsters is also guaranteed at Quinta do Lago’s Sunday Fun Golf events, which will take place each Sunday from March 20 to April 10, while the resort’s Mini-Golf Course is open daily and offers the perfect opportunity to relax after dinner.
Families keen to test their skills against each other on Quinta do Lago’s recently redesigned and award-winning North Course – created by renowned American architect Beau Welling in close collaboration with Paul McGinley – can do so in a new Family Golf Tournament on March 26.
Golfers also have the chance to improve their performance on the course by trying out the latest bespoke equipment at a TaylorMade Demo Day on the resort’s driving range on March 31, including a free 30-minute custom-fitting experience.
Alternatively, Quinta do Lago offers a wide array of other sports and leisure facilities to enjoy including two more 18-hole championship courses, while guests have ten exclusive bars and restaurants to choose from including the acclaimed new Bovino Steakhouse.
Perfect for a relaxing family holiday in exquisite surroundings, Quinta do Lago offers the very best in award-winning sports and leisure facilities with three 18-hole championship courses and a wide variety of pursuits to enjoy.
The resort’s world-renowned golf courses are matched by outstanding practice facilities, with a state-of-the-art TaylorMade Performance Centre – the only such facility in southern Europe – and new short game area available in addition to the Paul McGinley Academy.
Set among 2,000 acres of the picturesque Ria Formosa Natural Park, there’s plenty to keep guests occupied away from the fairways at the resort, with events, tennis, cycling and watersports just some of the extensive leisure activities available.
