There would be two events including a Business Summit that involves several participants, right form SMEs to Commissioners of the EU and a High-Level Meeting in the Palazzo dei Dogi.

These events would involve business networking, facilitating contact between important European and Chinese tourism businesses and also discussion of many practical initiatives to raise the flow of tourists between China and the European Union.
A series of events that promote Europe as a destination to the Chinese market would also form the backbone of EU-China Tourism Year.
And the second event would be taking place in Berlin on 6th March that coincides with ITB that is the largest trade fair in Europe. The third would take place on 16th April in Beijing.
Subsequent events would be coinciding with GEM in November in London, CITM in Shanghai and CITE in December in Chengdu, among others.
This program is also being funded by the European Commission and delivered by European travel trade organizations like ECCTA, ETOA and Welcome Chinese.
