The government of Himachal Pradesh is geared up to develop Mandi as an eco-tourism zone. Mentioning to this development, Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur explained that the government has started developing new spots in the region, and that he will keep no stones unturned to obtain funds from the centre for the said purpose.

As per the recent news reports, this region has immense possibility for both religious and eco tourism, which comprises six districts, such as Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Lahaul-Spiti, and Chamba; and all those projects will be unlocked that never concluded during the previous regimes.

Over 81 temples in Mandi, this town is one of the most popular spots in Himachal Pradesh. Based all along the river Beas, Mandi at the same time brags of being the second most populous city in Himachal. In fact, this town is a preferred stopover destination for visitors who love trekking.

Also, boasting picturesque views of majestic mountains, Mandi is the ideal place where you enjoy a calm and rejuvenating vacation. It is not hard to reach this place; take any bus from Manali and reach comfortably to your holiday spot.

Although many might not think Mandi to be a tourist hotspot, this small town will shock you in several ways that you can possibly imagine. Plays a good host for the adventure seekers as well as quiet vacation seekers, most of Mandi still remains unexplored.

And now with the government unveiling greater plans to build up this place, you should certainly plan your next vacation to Mandi.
