Weshah hails fromJordan and is a seasoned hotelier with over two decades of experience in the industry. He is expected to look after the entire operations of Grand Hyatt Al Khobar in the new position.
He started working with Hyatt in Amman during the beginning of his career and then made his way to Baku, Muscat. Belgarde and Jeddah.
In 2009 Park Hyatt Jeddah was opened and Weshah had joined in as the general manager of Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya in 2012.
During his tenure the property bagged the title of Saudi Arabia’s Leading Business hotel by voter at the World Travel Awards.
Weshah said that having successfully establishing the first Hyatt Regency in Riyadh he was delighted to be a part of the grand adventure that awaits him in Al Khobar and he planned to bring the same success to Grand Hyatt Al Khobar.
He went on saying that Al Khobar is one of the largest cities in the Gulf Cooperation Council and, together with Dammam and Dhahran forms the ‘Triplet Cities’, Saudi Arabia’s key economic and tourism hub.
The Grand Hyatt brand will be inspiring guests to celebrate through its welcoming services and captivating appeal.
The hotel is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2019 and will offer 314 rooms and 55 apartments and will be the first branded hotel in the kingdom.
