As the new Executive Sous Chef, Chef Stefan Beck will oversee kitchen operations of the hotel’s signature restaurant THIRTY8, which serves a selection of Western, Chinese and Japanese dishes. Born and raised in Germany, Chef Stefan specialises in classic European and Western fine-dining cuisine prepared with a creative modern twist and using fresh ingredients.
Being the newly appointed Pastry Chef, Chef Ashutosh Kumar will be in charge of all bakery and pastry operations in the hotel’s food and beverage outlets, THIRTY8 and JP teres. Hailing from India, Chef Ashutosh specialises in contemporary French patisserie, combining traditional Indian flavours using modern techniques. With 25 years’ worth of experience within the Hyatt group as well as in the international hospitality scene between them, we certainly look forward to providing our guests with an exhilarating gastronomic journey.
