It’ll be an interactive training experience provided by expert GSTC trainers. The STTP online classes will have flexible learning style, combining convenience of on-demand learning and interactive people-focused learning for busy professionals in travel and tourism. These classes will be delivered over a 4-week period, with weekly lessons and activities. To quote Randy Durband, GSTC Chief Executive Officer, “The GSTC training program is a critical part of the GSTC’s mission of increasing sustainable tourism knowledge and practices among tourism industry stakeholders.”
In 2017, GSTC aims to contribute with the help of STTP, to the “Capacity-building and education” goals of the United Nations International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development, with workshops and trainings on sustainable tourism.
