Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently hosted a media iftar in Muscat in celebration of the spirit of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was attended by a number of media representatives of leading publications in the Sultanate of Oman along with Gulf Air’s country manager in Muscat Mr. Ahmed Ramadan.
Gulf Air’s annual Ramadan initiatives in Muscat have served to further strengthen the airline’s ties with key media and industry stakeholders, reinforcing the longstanding relationship between Bahrain’s national carrier and the Sultanate of Oman and its importance as a key destination for the airline.
Gulf Air has had a strong presence in the Sultanate of Oman since Bahrain’s national carrier was first established in 1950. Currently, Gulf Air operates 28 weekly flights between Muscat and Bahrain. Boasting one of the Middle East’s largest networks, Gulf Air is well-positioned to connect Muscat to several key destinations in the Middle East, Asia and Europe with excellent connectivity via its efficient Bahrain International Airport hub.
