The Global Wellness Summit (GWS) announced on 28th June that it has attracted sponsorship support from thirty-six companies and organizations for the 10th annual Summit, taking place in Kitzbühel, Tyrol, Austria (October 17-19). Sponsors span a wide array of industries hailing from 14 different countries, and will have the unique opportunity to reach influential leaders from every sector of the $3.4 trillion wellness industry.
The historic 10th annual conference’s theme, “Back to the Future,” will explore the future of wellness, while celebrating its history.
“This year’s conference theme reflects its location, Tyrol, Austria, a place where many modern-day wellness practices originated and where wellness is a way of life for both visitors and local residents. We are looking forward to hosting a record number of attendees in the historical, alpine city of Kitzbühel,” said Susie Ellis, Chairman and CEO of the GWS. “Once again, we’re thrilled to have unprecendented support from our twenty-five returning sponsors, and express our deep thanks and a warm welcome to the eleven first-time sponsors that join us this year.”
Tirol Werbung, Kitzbühel Tourismus and Wirtschaftskammer Tirol,three entities focused on raising awareness of the Tyrol, Austrian region, have teamed together as Host Sponsors for this year’s Summit. Nestled in the Austrian Alps, Kitzbühel is an authentic medieval city and one of Austria’s best-known year-round sports resorts: home of World Cup ski races in the winter and ATP Tennis in the summer. Delegates will be able to immerse themselves in the splendor of nature, and experience some of the region’s iconic wellness resorts before, during and after the Summit.
Spafinder Wellness, Inc., the largest media, marketing and gifting company for the spa and wellness industry, returns as a multi-year sponsor supporting the this year’s Industry Research, an update of the Global Spa & Wellness Economy Monitor.
BuDhaGirl, the first lifestyle brand whose mission is to affect cultural change by turning everyday routines into rituals, returns as a Platinum Sponsor for a second year.
Five of the six Gold Sponsors, Biologique Recherche, Delos Living LLC, Gharieni, Lemi Group and Universal Companies, return this year, and the Summit welcomes Canyon Ranch as a first-time Gold sponsor.

Après Summit – this networking event takes place immediately following the close of the Summit on Day 3 and is sponsored by The Madison Collection.
