Of late, two Mornington Peninsula-based businesses related to tourism have been introduced into the Victorian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame for the reason of being awarded gold in three years at a stretch along with this year.
Peninsula Hot Springs and Harmony Bed & Breakfast, both at Fingal, became a part of the hall of fame for their respective categories, ecotourism and hosted accommodation.
The names of other peninsula businesses which won medals RACV Victorian Tourism Awards for this year were: Gold – Arthurs Seat Eagle (new tourism business); silver – Crittenden Estate (tourism wineries, distilleries and breweries), Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate (self-contained accommodation), Bunyip Tours (major tour and transport operators); bronze – Mornington Peninsula Brewery (tourism wineries, distilleries and breweries), Aquabelle Apartments (elf-contained accommodation).
On Thursday, November 23rd, the awards were declared in Melbourne. All Victorian business category gold winners automatically enter into the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards that will take place in Perth in February 2018.
