The travel options from Hamburg just got even more diverse. Hamburg Airport is now offering its very own Travel Specials on the airport website – packages that are not available from any other airport in northern Germany.
The packages, put together by Hamburg Airport and the tour operator Eurotours, include flights and accommodation, and in some cases excursions, transfers, and other activities. What makes them special is that the focus is not on classic vacation spots but on inspiring insider destinations that are particularly easy to reach from Hamburg.
To get the ball rolling, the travel experts have put together some small but exquisite packages. For example, there is a trip to Dresden with two nights’ accommodation in a 4-star hotel, including a Dresden Card (for free use of public transport and discount admission to museums) for just 229 euros per person. Other destinations available as part of the launch include Copenhagen, Madeira, Malta, Marrakesh, Malmö, Cyprus, and “Legoland” near Memmingen.
“Our experience with the overview of highly affordable flights on our ‘Top Value from Hamburg’ site has been very positive. We are therefore very excited that we can now offer passengers package tours put together especially for Hamburg. The choice of locations, deliberately unconventional, underlines the variety of destinations in Hamburg’s route network. And we want to encourage our guests to keep on discovering new things and places,” says Dr Joergen Kearsley, Head of Aviation Marketing at Hamburg Airport. The specials were put together exclusively for Hamburg Airport by the travel operator Eurotours. The plan is to have an attractive mix of city trips and beach breaks that will benefit everyone flying from Hamburg, be it families with young children, culture lovers, or young globetrotters.
