The new Southampton Harbour Hotel would seek accreditation on opening on October 2017.
AIM is the nationally recognized standard for service providers and venues associated with the meetings industry with as many as 50 criteria that should be met to achieve accreditation.
Harbour Hotel Group is also known for its collection of luxurious properties in the southern parts of England as well as some award-winning restaurants. Managing director of Harbour Hotels, Mike Warren said that joining the MIA would ensure some great benefits to their hospitality group.
