It will be used for travel on domestic US flights as well as international destinations including Australia, Japan and New Zealand until March 2017.
The first of three liveries, which was painted on an Airbus A330, features four characters from the film – Maui, Moana and her friends Heihei the rooster and Pua the pig.
There are also Moana-themed designs painted on the overhead luggage bins as well as branded products to purchase and exclusive in-flight entertainment.
The newly liveried plane is travelling on US domestic flights now as well as long-haul destinations including Brisbane, Sydney, Osaka, Tokyo and Auckland.
