AccorHotels four Queenstown hotels have collaborated with the high-quality Queenstown Resort College in order to honor a scholarship to one fortunate Wakatipu High School (WHS) student that would cover fifty percent of the student’s tuition fees awarded for achieving diploma in Hospitality Management.
High level of educational accomplishment and extra-curricular involvements are involved in the WHS Scholarship. The student gets a guaranteed internship placement through the scholarship at one of AccorHotels’ market renowned Queenstown properties.
There are many questions which the students are required to answer for the grant which includes an inventive 100-word response to “the secret of their success if they ran a world-renowned Queenstown hotel in 2028”.
This scholarship is kind of a combined vision that brings the world of hotels to the forefront of the Queenstown students, making them aware of the benefits of a compelling career path in the tourism sector with worldwide travel.
AccorHotels Regional Director of Talent and Culture Erin Dalton commended the management of the Queenstown hotels. “It’s fantastic to see the four hotels nurturing their talent pipeline when faced with housing and immigration challenges,” she said.
