Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, the 357-room, 15-acre beachfront oasis situated on Aruba’s world-famous Palm Beach, announces the appointment of Anthony Armas as director of sales and marketing.
With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Armas oversees all sales and marketing efforts, including digital and creative marketing efforts, branding initiatives, strategic partnerships, advertising, and media relations.
“Anthony’s wealth of experience in hotel sales and marketing makes him the ideal candidate for the position, perfectly poised to elevate our stature in the industry,” says Hans-Georg Roehrbein, general manager, Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino.
Most recently, Armas served as director of sales and marketing of Marriott Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Beach Resort in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. Prior experience includes leadership sales and marketing positions at various Marriott properties across Asia, Central America and the Caribbean, including Rayong Marriott Resort & Spa at Marriott International in Bangkok, pre-opening properties at Marriott International in Shanghai and Beijing, and Renaissance Jaragua Hotel & Casino in the Dominican Republic. In addition, Armas founded and managed a brand marketing consulting firm that specialized in advertising and sales tactics.
Offering 34,000 square-feet of flexible meeting space, Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino can accommodate any size group in a range of venues from intimate meeting rooms to the 8,000 square-foot Grand Caribbean Ballroom.
