Hilton Hotels & Resorts is planning to create a brand new hotel in Lower Nazareth Township that would wonderfully appeal to millennials with interesting features including outdoor grills and Foosball tables.
A hotel that would combine two hotel brands like Home2 Suites and Tru by Hilton would be constructed on 8.25 acres at 3882 Eastgate Blvd, off routes 33 and 248.
The 149-room hotel is being proposed by Central PA Equities 26 LLC would portray a Tru by Hilton in one wing and Home2 Suites in the other. The two would be sharing a lobby and other amenities. David Hogg who is the managing principal of Central PA Equities 26 and CEO of Springwood Hospitality that represents the development and management company of Hilton mentioned that this unique hotel would flaunt a ‘Starbucks feel’.
Hogg said that the dual-brand hotel is being marketed as a trendy place for younger guests with facilities like Foosball tables and outdoor grills aiming to motivate socialization.
The Tru brand is actually the next generation hotel concept being created by Hilton.
The mid-price chain that was unveiled in January 2016 is aimed at millennials among the gaming and grilling, brightly colored lobbies, alcoves where guests would be capable of working, a gourmet snack station and much more.
The rooms that are smaller feature 55-inch televisions and bathrooms with a lot of counter space. In addition they also possess a fitness center and free WiFi, as per a company press release.
