Commenting on the choice General Manager, Beverley Molmans, said; “The names were carefully chosen as these are places where people or animals can relax, feel comfortable and are cared for, which we hope will reflect our guests sentiment when staying or dining at Hogarths Stone Manor. Home is not just a place; home is where the heart is and where happy memories are made”.
Each name plaque will also feature a short quote, for example the cocktail bar will be known as The Hive, “Where the Buzz is!” and the residents lounge will be The Burrow, “A hideaway place to rest and ponder.” Fields restaurant becomes The Dining Room and the Wing Room changes to The Snug, while the new wedding co-ordinators room is to be called The Dovecote “Somewhere to perch, to coo and chatter”.
The stunning Tudor style, 56-bedroom hotel nestles in 27 acres of gardens and grounds. It is currently undergoing an exciting two-phase refurbishment to its public areas, rooms and gardens planned for completion by late spring. The programme will restore the hotel to its former glory, while offering a more classic, contemporary feel in keeping with the aspirations of today’s guests.
