At an award ceremony of the 9th Capital Weekly Service Awards held today, the internationally-acclaimed full service airline, Hong Kong Airlines (the “Company”), was again awarded as winner in the airline service category. Ms. Mandy Chan, Deputy General Manager, Ground Service attended the ceremony on behalf of the Company.
The Capital Weekly Service Awards is voted by expert panel of judges and the public to honour those Hong Kong enterprises with outstanding performance in providing quality service in the past year.
After receiving the award on stage, Ms. Chan said, “Hong Kong Airlines is extremely proud and honored to receive this award again. In recent years, Hong Kong Airlines have expanded rapidly. Earlier this year, our network extended to Gold Coast and Cairns in Australia. In the second half of the year, we will launch our Auckland route. As our company developed, we remain committed to our people-oriented philosophy and sincere service. All our cabin crew and ground staff aspire to provide friendly and attentive service to our passengers.
She continued, “In the second half of last year, we launched our ‘Sweeten You Up’ campaign, which provides exclusive service for special events like birthdays, anniversaries and to our children passengers, further bolstering Hong Kong Airlines’ commitment to quality service. This campaign has been warmly received and over 20,000 passengers have enjoyed our unique service. This year, as our destination network continues to grow, we hope to surprise our passengers by further enriching our ‘Sweeten You Up’ service. For example, passengers travelling with their musical instrument can reserve for a protection case for free. We are greatly motivated by this award. In the future, we will continue to devote our best efforts and provide our passengers the most extraordinary flying experience.”
Hong Kong Airlines has swept the Hong Kong International Airport Customer Service Excellence Awards in recent years. This year, a record high of close to 200 staff were applauded with the awards, highlighting Hong Kong Airlines’ devotion to its’ people-oriented philosophy.
