Cutting edge technology will be the order of the day at HOSPACE 2013 – HOSPA’s prestigious annual Conference and Exhibition for hospitality finance, revenue management, IT and commercial professional – to be held on 21 November.
At HOSPACE 2013, delegates can take advantage of a growing and increasingly influential exhibition of hospitality technology solutions – providing delegates with a ‘one stop shop’ to view and interact with the latest and ‘best in class’ technologies – covering all eventualities for any hospitality business, whether they be start-up, established independent, or multi chain-owned, operations.
In addition, iRiS Software Systems – the award-winning interactive guest services applications provider – has announced that its new ‘Delegate’ app will be used by at the HOSPACE 2013 Conference and Exhibition, to be held at the Sofitel London Heathrow, Terminal 5.
The iRiS Delegate app is a virtual event management solution that enables event organisers and conference centres to provide delegates with a multilingual, interactive event experience on their own device – making it ideal for HOSPACE 2013.
The app is a full featured event guide, personal conference planner and networking tool which allows delegates to view the conference schedule and export it to right into their device’s calendar app, access venue information, view attendee lists with LinkedIn profile links and manage documents, presentations and personal notes from each session.
The company says that a “unique messaging feature” allows event organisers to message delegates and delegates can also create quick polls during a session for voting. Social media integration allows delegates to share images and content from the event via Twitter and Facebook through the app’s share feature.

Content and operations management is controlled through the company’s cloud-based iRiS Manager, which allows content changes to be made instantly and enables two-way messaging in any language.
Also at HOSPACE 2013 RMG Networks – a market leading end-to-end provider of intelligent visual communication solutions – once again will be supplying the digital signage.
At this year’s event, visitors and exhibitors will be welcomed via highly engaging Christie Tiles, with content created by RMG’s professional creative services team. The projection tiles will be used primarily for advertising purposes, promoting the one-day conference. RMG will also be powering multiple digital information kiosks which are to be positioned throughout the exhibition floor to inform all attendees of the conference agenda, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors and the gala dinner, whilst offering instant access to the exhibition floor plan for easy and efficient navigation.
