Mobile technology has truly evolved in 2013, and so have guest expectations. The demand for hoteliers to provide in-room solutions that enable travelers to charge their old and new platform smartphones and tablet devices is at an all-time high. Hotel Technologies will unveil a new product line at the International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show next month that will please mobile travelers and hoteliers alike. Five new product innovations will be unveiled in Booth #2702, November 9 to 12, at the Jacob K. Javitz Center in New York, each exceeding guests’ expectations and meeting hoteliers’ demands for adaptability, affordability and design.
“Today’s consumers are coming to hotels equipped with multiple mobile devices, and oftentimes there are multiple platform users in the same family, each person expecting to have a place to charge and play his or her device,” said Ely Ashkenazi, Hotel Technologies National Sales Manager. “Dad brings his laptop and iPhone 5S, Mom has an Android smartphone and an iPad, an older child has an iPhone 5C and iPod while the younger child has a iPhone 4S and generic MP3 player. How does a hotel support multiple mobile devices in one room? Come to Booth #2720 at IHMRS in New York and we’ll show you.”
Trusted Technology with a Twist
While keeping in tune with guests’ mobile device demands, Hotel Technologies also knows how to keep fans of its popular iHome™ and Timex® units happy. Hotel Technologies patented features such as Single Day E-Z Set Alarm, Gentle Wake Alarm, Sure Alarm Battery Back Up, Bedtime Beats and Reson8™ speakers are represented throughout the new product set.
“We’ve kept the cool features that global travelers like most and will debut hot, new twists to our technology at the same time — like an alarm clock radio that actually sets the time itself,” Ashkenazi said.
