Qantas_787-92-340x190A 20-hour-long delay of Australia’s Sydney bound Qantas Airways flight has stranded hundreds of passengers at the airport in Dubai over the New Year’s time.

The airline has made arrangement for the travellers in hotels while the engineers are working on the Qantas Airways A380 jet.

On Friday, 30th December, several stranded air passengers have expressed anger and frustration via social media websites after staying stranded at the Dubai airport for eight hours. Several passengers have expressed their anger as they are stuck at an airport hotel instead of spending the New Year with their loved ones.

Passengers can also be seen panicking as they do not even have any answer regarding when the airline will be able to start the flight and the uncertainty and communication gap is also frustrating them.

The Qantas Airways has stated that they intend to fly the passengers safely and quickly to the airport at Sydney in Australia.

According to a spokeswoman for the airline, the engineering assessment is continuing and, once resolved, they will be able to provide an updated arrival time and they are keen to get passengers on their way, but only when it’s absolutely safe to do so.
