The National Hurricane Center said that the Air Force Hurricane Hunter planes had spotted Harvey strengthening its cyclonic interface in the Gulf of Mexico, with about 60-mile-per-hour winds more than 300 miles off the southern coast of Texas. It is expected to be one of the most disastrous calamities in recent years in Texas.
But later in the day, the Air Force Hurricane Hunter planes spotted the tropical winds strengthening until it became a hurricane, with 80 m.p.h. winds.
Some of the parts of Louisiana and the lower Mississippi Valley region were also in the alleyway of hurricane conditions.
The people of Texas are living at risk. The weather services informed that the hurricane could make landfall in Texas, and then re-enter the Gulf of Mexico before moving eastward to Louisiana. The tourists are also requested to be aware of the local climate conditions before travelling.
The movement of the hurricane was expected to slow down while over land, meaning it could drop more rain.
In some areas of Mexico and Texas, the storm could set free the heavy rain of at least two feet of accretion that could cause flooding catastrophe through the weekend.
The state of Texas and Louisiana have been embraced the tropical storm to affect the populated areas for several days after the National Hurricane Center predicted the fall that it could make landfall, affecting some of the areas of Corpus Christi, Tex., Houston and New Orleans and other cities, which will deeply affecting the transportation and the telecommunication system.
