IAEE Updates The Art of the Show Textbook

IAEEWritten by exhibition industry professionals for the industry and students, the fourth edition of The Art of the Show, An Introduction to Exhibition Management textbook is now available for purchase This latest version of the textbook has been written to focus solely on producing successful exhibitions. Written by industry experts for use in colleges and universities, this publication is the most comprehensive textbook on exhibitions.

In January 2014, the textbook will become suggested reading for those persons going through the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Learning Program. The $100 application fee will include a copy of the textbook. Concurrently, a Faculty Resource Center is being created for those teaching the textbook, to include instructional material and ancillary tools, such as presentations/lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities.

 

“With more than 40 contributing authors, the fourth edition of The Art of the Show textbook serves as the ultimate guide to current and future members of the exhibitions and events industry,” says contributing editor and IAEE Chief Operating Officer Cathy Breden, CAE, CMP. “We find the information in this textbook so valuable that we are adding it as a supplemental guide to professionals who enroll in the 2014 CEM Learning Program.”

 

The 421-page paperback covers all aspects of exhibition and event management, and has been set with scholar’s margins so that personal notes can be added, thus creating a personal reference guide. The book consists of seven sections and 29 chapters:
