iberiaPassengers can board Iberia’s new Premium economy class on the airline’s flight between Madrid and Boston from this month.

Flights between Madrid and Chicago, New York, Mexico city and Bogota already have the new cabin.

The market response has been very positive of Iberia’s newly launched Premium economy class in May.

Iberia chief commercial officer, Marco Sansavini mentioned that there were high hopes for the new seating class but the market response was far better and exceeded the expectations.

He further added that they were the first airline to offer intermediate class on direct flights to and from Spain. It was noted that the load factor beats projections in the US market and also in Latin America.

A passenger survey revealed that customers reviewed the new class and allotted highest marks to the overall experience and to the price/quality ratio.

Iberia flies to 124 destinations in 48 countries in Europe, America , Africa, Middle East and Asia. Iberia is the leading carrier on the routes between Europe and Latin America.
