The market response has been very positive of Iberia’s newly launched Premium economy class in May.
Iberia chief commercial officer, Marco Sansavini mentioned that there were high hopes for the new seating class but the market response was far better and exceeded the expectations.
He further added that they were the first airline to offer intermediate class on direct flights to and from Spain. It was noted that the load factor beats projections in the US market and also in Latin America.
A passenger survey revealed that customers reviewed the new class and allotted highest marks to the overall experience and to the price/quality ratio.
