IBTM Knowledge Programme Will Provide Valuable Insight For Meeting Planners In Asia And Beyond

IBTM_CHINA_VERTICAL_STACK_DATES_NEWDetails of the ibtm knowledge programme have now been confirmed and meetings industry professionals are invited to pre-register for the event. The programme, which will include CMP accredited sessions will take place as part of ibtm china (www.cibtm.com), set to take place in China National Convention Centre from 5-6 August.

Key sessions confirmed as part of the programme this year include:

Working With Winners: Best Practices For Successful MICE Events – In this seminar, an international panel of expert industry suppliers and planners will share strategies around working with host cities and venues, PCOs and other industry partners to produce memorable and productive events.

Great Expectations: The Evolving Landscape Of Social Media And Virtual Technology In Meetings – This session delivered in partnership with American Express Meetings & Events will discuss the differences between attendee expectations and planner/owner intentions in relation to virtual meetings and social media. It will also look at how mobile apps are being used across all meeting sizes as well as discussing the benefits, obstacles and potential ROI of hybrid meetings.

Views Of The Future: Ten Trends In The MICE Industry – In this session delivered by Liang Tang of Hui Tang, attendees will learn how to deal with the changing way the world conducts business, the changing trends influencing global economies and find out how to face the technological revolution head on in this traditional industry.

Attending ibtm china as a trade visitor will also provide meeting planners with the opportunity to meet with up to 400 venues, hotels, destinations, technology, business travel and event service providers confirmed to attend.
