Leading provider of IT and BPO services for global travel industry -InterGlobe Technologies (IGT) has launched the first of its artificial intelligence driven reservation chatbot called ARC( Airline Reservation Chatbot).
The chat platform will enable the customer to opt for end-to-end flight booking and customer service.
The ARC-Al-powered chatbot allows the travelers natural language (NLP) conversations with travelers. It provides complete reservation-related services and real-time information that widens the scope for an additional revenue channel.
ARC will help the Airlines in generating revenue and reduce costs via social, serve the travelers by supporting their requests. Being the first in innovation, IGT expands ‘chatbot’ with their expertise knowledge of handling 12 million and more reservations annually. This makes ARC one of the intel driven Chatbot for the Airlines.
The chatbot will provide the digital travelers with a seamless experience and includes key features like flight search, flight booking and managing flights, group bookings, flight schedule, status updates and baggage policy.
Vipul Doshi, CEO of InterGlobe Technologies mentioned that IGT has accepted the digital transition and meeting changes with the launch of chatbot. Digitalisation has highly impacted travel at different critical touch points. Travel companies to remain competitive need significant initiatives to accelerate services and cost savings with new channel capabilities.
ARC will drive revenue and better customer service and will have services for clients with IGT’s 17 years of domain expertise.
The launch sees the incorporation and integration of robotics and automation technologies in the travel industry for innovative customer facing solutions.
In the future chatbot will introduce end-to-end baggage and IROPS process.
